Jerry Meerkatz
CEO

Jerry joined Starview Inc. in early 2011 and has extensive experience in bringing to market enterprise products in both the software and hardware marketplaces. Before Starview, Jerry worked as General Manager and Vice President for several divisions of Compaq and Hewlett Packard, as well as emerging companies in the VoIP, enterprise mobile software and telecommunications industries. Jerry spent the last 32 years in the technology field with the last 25 in executive management worldwide. He is originally from the Flathead Valley in northwestern Montana, and holds a degree in Electronics Engineering Technology from DeVry University.

Steve Baunach
CTO

Steve is responsible for the design and delivery of high-value, domain-specific solutions to customers, working to translate challenges into product requirements for future productization of the Starview Enterprise Platform and customer project implementations. Prior to founding Starview Inc.’s predecessor Starview Technology in 2001, Steve served as VP of Engineering and CTO of BlackHog, a cloud-based inter-enterprise direct material procurement management system. Before that, he was VP of Product Development and CTO of Sherpa Corporation, seeing it through its acquisition by Inso Corporation and subsequent sale to SDRC. Steve has a BS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering from Oregon State University, and has been Issued three US patents.

Angus MacDonald
VP, Business Development

Angus is responsible for developing both strategic alliances and customer relationships for Starview. He has 20 years of experience bringing solutions to market that meet the technical and business requirements of global enterprises. Prior to joining Starview, Angus was co-founder of Mathon Systems, which produced in-network Information Governance solutions. He has also played a number of executive roles, including CEO of Snapbridge Software (now Mochila) and Vice President of TIBCO Software. Angus received his Ph.D. in Microelectronics and an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland.

Dennis Burton
VP, Applications

As Vice President of Applications, Dennis leads Starview’s applications sales team. Dennis brings to Starview more than 16 years of experience in executive-level sales positions within a variety of high tech companies, where he focused on generating revenue growth by developing multiple channels of sales distribution and key alliances. Prior to Starview, Dennis served as VP of Business Development at Cradlepoint Technology Inc., a global leader in 3G/4G networking solutions. His responsibilities included acquiring strategic OEM Alliance Partners and launching new International markets. Dennis joined Cradlepoint in 2007 and quickly assembled a sales team that took company’s revenue growth from zero to $17.5M annually in just eighteen months. Before that, he was at RightNow Technologies, a provider of Web Self Services, where he consulted with fortune 500 companies to evaluate their support processes and helped them drive cost out of their business models. Dennis holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology from Beacon University.

Kevin Twidle
VP, Engineering

Kevin Twidle is an innovative communications and distributed systems specialist with over 30 years of experience in both the commercial and academic worlds. He has consulted with companies worldwide, programming and troubleshooting their computer systems and helping them use their computer systems more effectively. As VP of Engineering at Starview, Kevin focuses on leading the company’s technology development, which includes the design and architecture of the Starview Platform and managing Starview’s computing infrastructure. Prior to Starview, Kevin worked at Quokka Sports in San Francisco, where his duties as Director of Operations and then Chief Architect involved managing the external computer operations of the company and the remote data gathering team. Before that, Kevin co-founded 7E Communications Ltd in London, where he pioneered sending images from remote parts of the world to the Internet via satellite, set up the NASDAQ feed into the London stock exchange and developed a monitoring and control system for the UK electricity supply grid. Kevin holds a PhD in Distributed Computer Systems from Imperial College in London.

Kevin Cory
VP, Service Management

As Vice President of Service Management at Starview Inc., Kevin is responsible for working closely with customers and integration partners in the delivery of solutions that will help best achieve their business goals. Kevin has more than 20 years of leadership experience managing delivery teams on implementing solutions for global companies. An accomplished solution architect and organizational leader, his contributions have resulted in notable enterprise improvements in the retail, financial, and software development industries. Prior to joining Starview, Kevin worked as a Senior Manager in Deloitte’s Technology Strategy and Architecture practice. He was also the Managing Director of Deloitte’s Tax Technology and CIO for Livemercial, an industry leading eCommerce marketing and sales management firm. He has been featured in InformationWeek, Data Management Review, and other technology media. Kevin attended the University of Maryland.
